SERVES 6 PREPARATION: 30 MINUTES COOKING: 25 MINUTES 2 onions, ﬁnely chopped 1 cup packed ground pork 1 cup packed ground beef 1 tsp dried oregano 1 cup fresh white bread crumbs 1 tsp ground cumin ½ tsp grated nutmeg 1 egg, beaten salt and freshly ground black pepper 5 tbsp olive oil 2 garlic cloves, ﬁnely chopped pinch of chili powder 2 x 14 oz (400 g) cans chopped tomatoes ½ cup vegetable stock 1 Place half of the onions, the pork and beef, oregano, bread crumbs, cumin, nutmeg, and egg into a large bowl.
